Upcoming Vera Bradley - Part of Fall 2012

Here is a picture that a friend shared with me from a catalog that she picked up at her local Vera Bradley.  You can see a couple of the new Vera Bradley key chains...there will also be a bird one...and the red micro fiber!  I dont know if the micro fiber is coming out August 30th, but my guess is that we will have to wait a couple of weeks.  It sure is pretty though!

Vera Bradley Restyled Saddle Up for Fall 2012

I know many of you are looking forward to some of the restyled bags that are coming up, as am I!  Here is the restyled Saddle Up in Canyon.  Canyon is one of the fall colors that will be out in August, but I am assuming that the restyled Saddle Up will be out on July 10th.  

I am glad that they removed the pleats from the front!

Fall 2012 Restyled Vera Bradley Weekender

Here is your first look at the restyled Vera Bradley Weekender!  It will be officially available August 30th!  But from June 15-17 you can be one of the first to own the Weekender!  They will be having a Girlfriends Getaway sale and you can pick it up with a Small Cosmetic and Tech Case for just $98 (retail $145)!  I think that I might finally buy a Weekender, what a deal!

I dont have any details on the new bag, but you can see the new zipper pocket that takes up most of the front of the bag.  Can't wait to see it in person!

Restyled Mini Hipster for Fall 2012

A big thank you to the OhMyVera reader who sent in these photos of the restyled Mini Hipster!  I know some of you will be really happy since you were disappointed that it was retiring.  
Some of the updates are the strap is wider and adjustable.  The shape is more square than the last one.  The closure is a snap instead of Velco.  Not sure about what else might be different, guess we will have to wait to see one in person or until the description gets posted by Vera Bradley.
I would assume that it will be released with the other Fall 2012 bags on July 10th. (Remember, dorm items will be released June 28th)

Update: More photos!! 

And the description from April: New version is great -- has adjustable strap AND a flap on the front. At the top of the front flap is a zipper, which turns the flap part into a mini 'pouch'. Then, when you lift the flap, you see the clear plastic compartment that showcases your I.D., and a second pouch that holds many credit cards and your money -- in there is yet ANOTHER zipper which could hold coins, small items, etc. - Thanks April!!!

Vera Bradley Fall 2012 Preview - Photos of Inside Prints

Last week I had Monday off of work, so I decided to head up to the Vera Bradley store to check out the Fall 2012 preview.  I was pretty excited to have a chance to go check it out, because I thought for sure that I would have a chance to make it up there while they had the preview going on. 
While I was there I picked up a Hipster in Indigo Pop.  Once I saw that color I knew that I had to have something in that print! Here is a picture of me with my new bag a couple days later at the Vera Bradley Be Colorful Tour - In Bloom.  

I was able to snap a few photos of the inside prints too so that you can check those out! 

Va Va Bloom, Indigo Pop and Paisley Meets Plaid will be released June 28th and the other three will be released in August. 

Vera Bradley Dorm Room Preview for Fall 2012!

At the Vera Bradley experience last weekend they set up a dorm room preview in Va Va Bloom & Paisley Meets Plaid!  Check out the bedding, rug and new bags!

Vera Bradley Fall 2012 in Store Preview

I wasn't able to make it to the Vera Bradley preview yet, but a friend went and was able to take some photos...lots of photos!  Check out the video to see a slideshow of the Fall 2012 preview!
Some of the items included in the preview are: Laptop Backpack, Go Round Tote, Vera, Tote, E-reader Sleeve, Large Duffel, Eloise, Hipster, Zip ID, all size Cosmos, Lunch Date & Mandy. 
Fall 2012 will have two releases.  The first one will be Indigo Pop, Paisley Meets Plaid & Va Va Bloom.  The second will be Canyon, Provincial & Portobello Road.

Vera Bradley Summer/Fall Rumors

One of the blog readers was visiting a store last week while the Vera Bradley sales rep was there and was able to ask some questions that I think that we have all had.  Check out the answers here, but just remember that this is just speculation and we don't know everything for sure.  
The next retirement will be Lemon Parfait, Blue Lagoon and Folkloric on March 2nd. 
As noted on the Summer 2012 posts - that collection will release on March 22nd. 
Vera Bradley probably will release 6 colors in the Fall, but will break it up into two releases. 
And last but not least...it sounds like the Pleated Tote is just going to be restyled!  So hopefully all of us Pleated Tote fans wont have to wait long to see the new style!

Sneak Peek - Vera Bradley Fall 2012

Vera Bradley just did an online survey with potential colors for Fall 2012.  There were 6 colors on the survey, normally there are only 4 and those 4 are that seasons colors.  I assume that Vera Bradley would continue to release only 4 colors, but you never know, maybe they will release 6 in the fall.  We shall see. In the mean time, check out the colors!
