Perfect Laundry Coin Holder

Wednesday, September 14, 2011
Over Labor Day I went to the Vera Bradley Outlet because they were having a 25% off sale! I didnt go with anything to buy in mind, but I did find some good stuff! I got a Deco Daisy Angle Tote ($29), Call Me Coral Frannie ($16), Watercolor Pocket Cosmetic ($10), and a Barcelona Lizzy ($25). I am most excited about the Lizzy. I plan on taking it with me when I visit my sister in Ukraine in November. It will be great for carrying around what I need, since I wont need too much. It is dangerous living this close to the outlet store, I need to be careful!

Flirties Jewelry Giveaway
Check out this really fun, cute jewelry from Flirties! They sent me some jewelry from their Spring 2011 and Summer 2011, it goes great with the Vera Bradley colors! They make Vera Bradley color coordinated necklaces, bracelets and earrings! I wore a couple of pieces to work and got a lot of compliments. The necklace I wore matches perfectly with Deco Daisy. I also took a set of bracelets with me since I was carrying my Folkloric Get Carried Away Tote. The colors coordinated so well, now I will have to pick up sets to go with all my favorite Veras!
Here are the necklaces in English Meadow, Deco Daisy, Watercolor & Viva La Vera!
Me sporting the Viva La Vera Necklace! Excuse the boring background, we didnt have many options at work :)
Here are the sets of bracelets!! Look how amazing they go with the Veras! The colors look great! Folkloric was my favorite, but you know which one really surprised me?? Lemon Parfait! I havent really been into that color, but the bracelets look great with it and made me give Lemon Parfait a second look.
Here is a picture of me and the Folkloric Get Carried Away Tote and the Firties bracelets!
Here is a close up of the bracelets - two bauble and two pearl bracelets
Earrings too! Normally they would match...this is just so you can see all of the colors

Vera Bradley in Princeton
For Easter weekend I drove from DC to Princeton, NJ to go visit my cousin Rachel and her husband Greg. Rachel just finished up at Princeton and they are moving back to California in June, so it was good to be able to spend the holiday with them before they move back. One of the first things we did was head to campus to go check it out. It is such a beautiful campus and full of so much history. I really enjoyed walking around and checking it all out. We were walking past the campus store and Rachel mentioned that they sell Vera Bradley, so of course I said that we had to go check it out!
They had a whole corner full of Vera Bradley. It was a little bit of a mess, but I did find some good stuff! Did you notice what I am wearing??? My Americana Red flower!
I found a Petite Pouch in Watercolor! I think that it is so cute, so I got it! Plus I think that it will be good for holding laundry quarters :)
And a Card Holder in Folkloric for ONLY $3! This is the one that was given away as a promo. I dont know how much they are supposed to retail for, but I do know that $3 for anything from Vera Bradley is a good deal! Looking back, I should have just bought all that they had and given them out as gifts. That was it though. I got out of the store without spending over $10.
Here is a picture of the three of us after church on Easter. I had a great time in Princeton and Easter dinner was delicious!

Vera Bradley Summer 2011 Cards - Viva La Vera, Watercolor & English Meadow
One of my Vera Friends shared a link to an ebay seller who was selling mixed packs of Vera Bradley cards. They were a great deal, so I decided to order a set. Much to my surprise they are Summer 2011 colors! Lucky me! It was great to see the colors in person. I still think that I like the Fall colors better. The first picture is the piles of cards and then the pictures below are the cards open so that you can see more of the print.

Vera Bradley Summer 2011 Preview
One of my Vera friends was nice enough to let me post her pictures of the items that she purchased at the Summer 2011 preview! So now you can check out the colors that will be coming out for the Summer. There are 4 new colors, Viva la Vera, English Meadow, Deco Daisy and Watercolor. Here are 3 of the new prints…check them out!
English Meadow
Deco DaisySome of the Vera Bradley stores do previews ahead of time of the colors they are planning to release. Too bad the nearest VB store is about 2 and a half hours away! Plus I don't think the ones in California participate in the previews.
Found a picture of Watercolor! Click here to check it out!
