Vera Bradley Spring 2012 Gift With Purchase

From January 19 - February 1 you will be able to Choose Your Gift with any purchase of $75 or more!  Your choices will be the Tech Case, Life in Progress or Ditty Bag.  These are great choices for a gift with purchase!  I love the Ditty Bag, I could even do a post just about Ditty Bags...might have to do that later this month, haha.  I also have two Tech Cases, one for my camera and one for random things like my iPhone or iPod.

Back from Ukraine!

I'm back from vacation!  Over Thanksgiving I had the opportunity to go visit my sister who is in the Peace Corps in Ukraine.  I hadn't seen her in 14 months, so it was great to be able to go catch up with her, see all of the places she has talked about and meet her friends!  I tried to find some photos that include Vera Bradley items, but there weren't very many. 

This first one (excuse the hat hair) is me and a hot chocolate so thick you could eat it with a spoon.  I have my Raspberry Fizz Tech Case...great camera case! 

This one is of me at the wharf on the straight between the Black Sea and the Sea of Azov.  Sporting my  Hipster in Loves Me. 

No Vera in this one...just a cute picture of me and my sister! 

I had no Vera Sightings while I was there!  I thought that I would see at least one, but no such luck.  That might change because I gave Erin a Ditty Bag in Simply Violet while I was there.  I had 3 of them with me and Erin liked them, so I gave her one.  I also had an extra Card Holder in Folkloric that I gave to her friend Ira who has 3 jobs!! I can't think of anyone who works harder than her.  So now Ukraine has two new pieces of  Vera Bradley. 

A trips worth of Vera!

Last weekend I was in Northern California to go to a wedding.  I always take a lot of Vera with me and this trip was no exception.  The only two pieces that matched were my new 3 Pocket Tote and Double ID Wristlet in Happy Snails, the rest was a crazy assortment.  You can definitely say that I am not matchy-matchy.  The other bags - Metropolitan in Deco Daisy, Ditty Bag in Pinwheel Pink, Small Bow Cosmetic in Riviera Blue, Large Cosmetic in Raspberry Fizz, Jewelry Case in Pink Pansy, CLutch in Vera Vera, Tech Case in Poppy Fields.  And yeah, you might have noticed that is not a Vera in the back, I didnt want to move it out of the picture, plus it is a great bag!  It is an Adventure Duffel from LL Bean.  It was on sale for $25!!! It is probably about the same size as a Large Duffel, but it is a medium.  And I can check it and not worry about my cotton bag getting ruined! Wonderful. And it still stands out on the luggage carousel.  

LOTS of Vera! 

One of the questions that I get the most is why do I love Vera Bradley bags.  I love them because they are colorful, fun, light, easy to take care of bags.  But while I was walking through the airport I realized another reason that I have always liked Vera Bradley bags.  It is the same reason that Barbara and Patricia started making them...we need feminine luggage! I love that even if I am just wearing jeans and a t-shirt I can use a Vera Bradley bag and still feel feminine! Genius! I do love me some Vera! 

Anyone have a Mod Floral Blue Tech Case?

Does anyone have a Mod Floral Blue Tech Case that they want to sell? I was going to ask on the FB fab page, but thought I would ask you all first. I really want one for work since the colors are the Padres colors and I need something to carry my cell phone in when I dont have pockets. It doesnt have to be new. I only want to pay about $10. I know this is a shot in the dark, but thought that it would be worth a try. Thanks!
