Over Labor Day I went to the Vera Bradley Outlet because they were having a 25% off sale! I didnt go with anything to buy in mind, but I did find some good stuff! I got a Deco Daisy Angle Tote ($29), Call Me Coral Frannie ($16), Watercolor Pocket Cosmetic ($10), and a Barcelona Lizzy ($25). I am most excited about the Lizzy. I plan on taking it with me when I visit my sister in Ukraine in November. It will be great for carrying around what I need, since I wont need too much. It is dangerous living this close to the outlet store, I need to be careful!
Hi Alison -I love your blog! I was there on the Saturday of Labor Day, and I really scored as well. I bought two totes (puccini and peacock) for approx $22 each, an angle tote in Viva la vera, large duffel and kiss and make up in Totally turquoise (which I returned and bought cheaper on line), get carried away tote in call me coral, 2 tech cases and a few things for my sister. A lot of fun! btw I was at the vera bradley columbia store and they gave me a flyer for drawings each day thurs-sunday beginning 9/22ReplyDelete
I think I need to see pictures of your closets!!!! Where do you put all your Vera treasures?!?!?ReplyDelete
Of course, you meant Deco Daisy, not Daisy Daisy. :) The last time I saw Daisy Daisy at the Leesburg Outlet, they only had the brush and pencil.
If you have a method to organize all your Vera, we would love to learn from you!
Oh!! I am so jealous! I would LOVE to live near an outlet. The closet thing Vera I have by me is in a little part of a shoe store at our mall 15 minutes away (or at various Hallmark's 15 minutes away) and a Vera Bradley store 30 minutes away! I still haven't been to the store but my sister and I hope to go soon! And it is funny.....this morning I just ordered a Lizzy in Mocha Rouge from QVC! I compared the total costs, and QVC was about $43 dollars ($36 for the bag, $5 shipping, $2 tax) while Vera Bradley.com would have been $55 ($46 for the bag, $6 shipping, $3 tax)! I think I got a good deal. Can't wait to get it in the mail! I love my Mini Hipster.....it is so faded, though, because I use it so much! (I have it in Cupcakes Pink) And, I think my Lizzy will hold a little more than my Mini Hipster yet a little less than my Hipster! Can't wait to get it! I organize my Vera Bradleys in my closet. I have about half of it empty, and I hang up my bags and wristlets there. For my wallets and things I can't hang, I just put them in a little basket on the shelf. I have a whole Microsoft Exel sheet with the name of everything I own and the pattern it is in! I am so excited to get my Lizzy in the mail! (I don't know how many times I said this but I still am excited!) I think Mocha Rouge is my new favorite :) Reminds me of why I got started in Vera Bradley: Imperial Toile! I don't know why but I love the combos of pinks and browns.ReplyDelete
Can you do a "what will fit" in the Lizzy bag? And the Angle Tote? Thanks!ReplyDelete
A friend of mine really wanted the Lizzy in Call me Coral so I bought it for her. I was surprised to see how small it was. I don't think it could hold much more than a fanny pack.ReplyDelete
Oops, Yep Deco Daisy. I will try to do a couple of posts about what will fit in those bags. When I moved in the Spring I left a lot of my bags in California and the bags I have here with me dont fit in my closet, so they are just in a box. I wish I had a better way to store them, but it works for now.ReplyDelete
I hang most of my Vera bags on hangers in my closet - but I am blessed with a huge closet! It keeps them off the floor and out of boxes and I love to see them!ReplyDelete
PS - Pieces without straps I have in a shallow basket on a shelf underneath the hanging bags. I find I use them all alot more this way - always changing bags with my moods - or the weather - or just because!ReplyDelete
That is a great price for the Lizzie, normally I think it's way too over priced for the size. You'll have to let us know what you think.ReplyDelete
