Last Sunday (Oct 30) I went to the Marine Corps Marathon here in DC/Arlington to cheer on my friend Katie who was hardcore enough to run 26.2 miles! It was a little chilly so I wore my new jacket from The North Face...everyone from California who moves to a place with cold weather should have one, haha! Everyone else probably would have thought that it was overkill. It is great, because it goes great with my Happy Snails Bookbag!

These guys ran the whole marathon carrying flags! I can't imagine carrying those while trying to run.

ReplyDeleteThat is so neat! I really enjoyed being able to watch the marathon last year. This year I will be running in the 10k and hopefully I will be up for staying around to cheer on some friends as they finish the marathon. Congrats on your 50th marathon!
