Happy Mother's Day!

I hope all the mothers reading this had a great Mother's Day!  One of the great things about being back in California is being closer to my family.  While I didnt get to spend Mother's Day with my mom and I did get to spend it with my grandma, aunt and uncle, and my cousins.  My aunt owns just a couple of Vera Bradley bags, so I was surprised when we both showed up carrying Island Blooms bags!  

 

The very first Vera I ever bought was a Bermuda Blue Vera tote for my mom to use at work since she is a nurse.  The one in the photo below is the second one I bought her to replace the first one, but this Mother's Day I went with a new color and bought her a Midnight Blues Vera tote.  She loved it!  I bought it back when the stores had a promotion to get two Clip Zip ID cases for free, so I got her one in Indigo Pop because that the time they were out of Midnight Blues.

Vera Bradley Winter Preview Starts May 10, 2013

Vera Bradley's Winter 2013 preview started today and goes through May 20th! I am so excited to see Canterberry Cobalt, Canterberry Magenta and Venetian Paisley in person.  Since I moved to California, so I not near a preview store anymore, but I have a friend picking up a few bags so I can get photos posted on the blog really soon, so check back!  Venetian Paisley looks more blue in person than the photo which looks a little purple to me.    Back in the beginning of April I announced which colors would be coming out in the winter, you can see that post by clicking here.  

    Some Vera Bradley stores and a few retailers will have the Winter colors in the following styles: Glenna, Hipster, Tote, Vera Tote, Grand Traveler, Campus Backpack, Medium and Large Cosmetic, Euro Wallet & Turnlock Wallet.

You might have heard that Google Friend Connect and Google Reader are going away on July 1, 2013.  I use them to read all of my favorite blogs in one place, so I was disappointed that Google is taking it down...but not for long because I discovered Bloglovin'.  You can sign up for an account, it is easy and free.  Once you sign up you can go into 'settings' and import all of the blogs that you follow.

Vera Bradley Sighting - Big Bang Theory
