Vera Bradley Survey Colors (from April 30, 2013)

Vera Bradley did a new survey of possible colors today!  Lots of beautiful patterns to check out.

Colors have already been picked through Summer 2014 from the survey on this link, so these could be Fall 2014 or later.  Or maybe they will mix them into what they already have picked for prior to that.  We shall see!

Which colors would you like to see Vera Bradley make?

  1. They are all pretty, but look similar to previous patterns.

p.s. Did you spy the Vera bag on The Big Bang Theory last week?

  2. Yuck!!! These are hideous. I don't understand the retro patterns

    1. Yuck is right. Hideous--right on:) Don't get these patterns at all and I do like retro clothing/style but not any of these.

    2. I don't care for any of these either. They seem to have lost their way with some of these. Then again, the ones that make it to production usually grow on me, but less and less lately. It's always fun to see what might be coming, though, thanks Alison!

  3. I got the survey too. I had most of these patterns, but a few were different. There were only a few in the survey that I might consider buying, most were pretty bad.

  4. My daughter got the survey, too... but not the same prints, at least not all of them. She posted them on her blog...

Liked the emerald, orange, and one with Christmas colors.

  6. There are only a couple that I like.. I hope they go back to the smaller prints.. they are my favorite. Nothing has really stood out for me the last couple of seasons. I am looking very forward to the Disney prints that are to be out this fall!!! That I will buy!!!

  7. Nothing stands out to me as WOW. I agree, too retro. Maybe they will look better when made up into totes and purses. Kind of like trying to find the right fabric when sewing. The colors don't appeal to me even though I'm sure they reflect what is suppose to be the "in" colors for the upcoming seasons. Beginning this Fall I may be dragging out my "old" purses or moving on to another designer. :(

  8. I'm loving #136. I would buy that in a heartbeat.

  9. This is the worst collection of patterns I have seen in over 15 years! Wish I could have done the survey. I would have told them NONE and to start all over again. I guess I will be saving my money though:) Nothing wrong with that.

  10. I got the survey too, but mine had different patterns. There actually was a small print(finally) in pink and green on a black background. A modern twist on the old classic black.

  11. I always say YUCK to their new patterns via the surveys and then I see them in person and I love them. I hated Tutti Frutti and Portobello and now I own about 10 of those items. They're always better than in the surveys.

  12. I'm not really loving any of these... but Summer and Fall this year I haven't liked either. We'll see what comes out for Winter I guess!

  13. I think these are all terrible. There have been very few patterns in the past couple of years that I have liked enough to purchase.

  14. 147 would be fun in paper goods or a mug. I do not care for the others. Like many other comments here I have not been a fan of the recent patterns.

  15. I don't like any of these. I have also been disappointed with most of the patterns the last few years although I do like a almost all of the Spring and Summer patterns, but now it's back to saving money! But as Dee said, I'll see it in a preview and hate it and then see it live and love it. Who knows!

  16. I actually really like #961, that medallion shape is something new and I love the combination of the neutral colors with the reds, greens, and golds. I also like #291 as I'm always partial to black backgrounds, and I think the smaller accent patterns will look great with all those colors going on. I'm also personally loving the little roosters in the print, jmho :-). Also #582 really appeals to me. I love the brown background with the combinations of teal, orange, red, green, pink, and purple. Definitely something different and unique. The other ones though, I'm not liking to much. lol.

  17. It would be nice if they went a bit back into their roots. I feel like Vera is going a little too crazy these days. Each season I'm liking them less and it saddens me. I've been scouring vintage shops for bags in good condition in retired patterns because they appeal to me more stylistically.
