I braved the heat and tourists at the National Mall to go check out the reflecting pool that opened up this week after being closed for two years for renovations. I had a few Vera Sightings and was able to take photos of a couple. The first is a Sittin in a Tree Backpack on the steps up to the Lincoln Memorial and the other is a Blue Lagoon Betsy...or maybe it was a Mandy, I didnt get a good look at it, with the reflecting pool and Washington Monument in the background.
