  2. I love the Floral Nightingale!!!

  3. Why does Vera keep using the same colors and similar patterns? Why don't they offer at least one pattern like the older ones, such as Pansy Pink? These are all so bold and have too many colors. It would be nice to see some variation.

  4. IDK... I don't really like the patterns. I'm gonna go with Tea Garden as my favorite out of the bunch. I'd have to see them in person. I didn't think much of very berry paisley until I saw it in person so who knows, I'm optimistic. :P

  5. How cool, what fun to see them early! I'm going to end up with a million Vera bags! There's always a new pattern I just love being released!

  6. I'd have to go with Rhythm and Blues in this collection.

  7. I'm not feeling them. They're using the same color pallets again. It doesn't feel like anything "fresh" or new.

  8. I don't if it's your video or YouTube, but the video keeps messing up. :/

  9. Cross my last comment above; once I set it to a higher resolution it started working. I'm not really feeling these, but if I were to purchase one, I'd go with Tea Garden.

  10. I guess Vera is getting away from pinks and paisleys. Only 1 paisley for fall and winter. I like the flowers better, myself but hate all the BIRDS! How about butterflies, ladybugs or even fish-like the canyon? I like Suzani for some reason.

  11. Everything looks like a repeat... I am dissapointed in the new patterns... same old, same old... there are so many colors, why the same ... ???

  12. Rhythm and Blues kind of reminds me of Cambridge! I'm really loving Tea Garden, Suzani and Rhythm and Blues!! Does anyone know if Suzani has a black or brown background?

  13. I love the winter 2011 collection - really catches my eye more than their fall 2011 colors.

  14. Not a fan of any:(

  15. The winter 2011 collection is so much better than the fall 2011 collection.I think I'm liking Rhythm and Blues. Love the Blue/Green color combo. Will have to wait until I see it in person to be sure. Don't like any of the fall 2011 collection at all.

  16. I really wish Vera would bring back a holiday
    bag for Christmas!!!!!

  17. I loved last year's winter line better. Baroque, Twirly Birds... So modern. These patterns seem outdated. I am glad the Fall 2011 line has some great patterns to look forward to (today!). Can't wait for Mocha Rouge!

  18. LOve the new chain bag and the mocha rouge pattern...Can't wait to get it!!!

Also, my 15 year old daughter laughs at me when I spot a vera out and about...I know the style and the pattern LOL

  19. I'm not a huge fan of any of these... Guess I'll be getting some of the Fall 2011 patterns instead of waiting.

  20. I like these patterns, but i'm not crazy about them.... My favorites would probably be Tea Garden and Floral Nightgale.

  21. Same old, same old. I wish Vera Bradley would start listening to their customers and mix it up a little.

  22. Thanks so much for your website! I check it all the time for Vera updates! Do you remember if the Tea Garden was on a white or gray background? Someone posted a picture, and stated it has a white background: http://www.flickr.com/photos/27902787@N08/5713215799/in/photostream/. However, to me, it looks more gray. I'd really prefer gray, as I'm looking for a gray background to be my next pattern :).

  23. Love your website.
i am really surprised that nothing really looks new for winter, tea garden is too close to folkloric, suzani looks like safari sunset.
A little disappointed in the new colors, but am looking forward to getting "deals" on the new retirings.

  24. you definitely are not allowed to take ANY photos in a vera bradley store..fyi so be sneaky but they will catch you eventually

  25. @Molly, I cant remember which color it looked more like in person. I think that I would go with an off white tan, but dont quote me.

@Anonymous - You definitely are allowed to take pictures at Vera Bradley stores. I take pictures every time I go and no one has ever told me that I couldn't take any.

  26. I love sneak previews of anything but this one is great! I usually sneak onto ebay to see if a seller has anything of the really new stuff. The Suzani is the best this season. I may try to get a backpack in that. I wonder is the red in it really red or orange red? Thank you

  27. This is so cool that you can preview this! I love them all...but Vera Bradley is copying other patterns...using the same colors. Someone like seriously needs to put their thinking cap on!
    Tea Garden = Folkloric
    Suzani = Mod Floral Pink
Rhythm & Blues = Blue Rhapsody
    Floral Nightengale = Purple Punch

COME UP WITH SOME NEW DEISGNS! they are all still really cute though I really love Tea Garden, Floral Nightengale, and Suzani!

OH AND ON FLORAL NIGHTENGALE..I DON'T LIKE THE BIRDS!!!!

  30. I have seen these in person. They are gorgeous, all 4 of them. The pictures dont do them justice at all! The Suzani is gorgeous. It has a black background and has taupe in it so it looks great with black or beige. The colors in Floral Nightingale are amazing! The Rhapsody in Blue has really pretty turquoise/blue jewel tones. Tea Garden is my least favorite but still gorgeous. I love the grey background with it and the pinks and oranges in it are beautiful. For once, I find all 4 awesome where usually I like only one or two. You have to see them in person!!!

  31. Tea Party in person looks nothing like Folkloric at all. Rhapsody in Blue does look like Blue Rhapsody but the background is not dark like it. Floral Nightingale looks NOTHING like Purple Punch. THe background is navy and the purple is a different purple and the green is olive and the nightingales are grey and there are dragonflies on it. Suzani looks like nothing I have ever seen. The flowers come from the ancient art of Suzani which is designs on pillows and such.

  32. *sorry I meant "Rhythm in Blues" not Rhapsody in Blue

  33. Suzani is not a true red.. more of an red/orange. Very gorgeous print and looks great in the scarf!!

  34. I have to agree with some of the others... this winter 2011 collection looks dated. As of right now, I really don't see myself purchasing any of these patterns. Maybe I will like them more in person..

  35. Nothing here really appeals to me either. Purple is my favorite color so I'm leaning toward the Floral Nightingale, but seriously there is nothing here that I would look at and think "now that is pretty" I WISH they would make some less busy, more easy going colors too. More like the twirly birds design in different colors. I am just sick of a basic paisley design.

  36. A lot of people in the comments seem to not like any of the colors very much, but I ADORE Floral Nightingale. Love navy and love purple, and I think the birds are adorable. I prefer leaves to paisley as well.

  37. I am wondering if the blue in Rhythm in Blues is similar to the blue/auqa/turquoise in Java Blue?

  38. I just don't like any of these. :(

  39. I do not like any of the winter patterns. Glad they had good fall patterns.

  40. I received a handbag in the Suzani Winter 2011 pattern in 2020 as a gift and I've been in love with my purse ever since. Searching for a good purse/handbag is so hard for me since I need it to hit certain marks. I have kids, so it has to be big enough to carry my things, plus what my kids throw at me (I've found some weird, random things in my purse, including a Barbie doll hand - just the hand! - and my son's army men, etc.), and multiple inner compartments to carry my medicine, lotion, etc., my planner, and my wallet - all without compromising my ability to carry this load with me since I walk with a cane. This purse was my FIRST Vera Bradley anything.. I'm quite sad that I can't get the same pattern. I'm definitely looking for another Vera Bradley purse, but I can't find the same kind in a different pattern. I've been searching for over a year now! My Vera Bradley purse has held up to a lot of rough and tough situations, so I'm looking for a new one to keep this one from being put through it all even more. I hope to find a new one soon, one that I'll love just as much as this one. I'm still sad that it's been retired though :(
